John, a life long cyclist, didn't start to record his mileage until January 1991 when he was 56 years old! In 1993 he took early retirement and from then on his annual mileage hovered around the 20,000 mark. His best year was 1996 with 23,491 miles. So far this year he has logged over 9,300 miles! PS The picture was taken at the end of a 125 mile club ride to Llandrindod Wells and back!
